3D/I- IMPACTprogram
Project Information is displayed at the top of the Project Overview, and includes the project name, the current project stage, any pictures associated with the project, and high-level project responsibilities.
To edit the Project Information, click the Edit button directly above and to the right of the Project Manager label on the Project Overview. The Project Information details dialog will appear. There are three buttons available at the top of the screen:
Save- Saves the current Project Information
Delete- Deletes the entire project. Project's associated with contracts cannot be deleted.
Cancel- Discards any changes made to the Project Information and closes the window.
To make changes to the existing Project Information, edit the detail fields. The following fields are available:
Project Name- The name entered for the project when it was created. You can rename the project here. Any contracts associated with the project will automatically be updated.
Program FY- The year the project is programmed or scheduled.
Exec. FY- The year the project is executed.
Cat.- The project category. The available categories can be edited on the System Codes dialog.
Project Stage- The current stage of the project. The available project stages can be edited on the System Codes dialog.
Type- The project type. The available types can be edited on the System Codes dialog.
Project #- The project number within the program.
Completion Percentage- The percentage of the project that has been completed to date.
Scheduled Completion- The percentage of the project scheduled to be completed by the current date.
Project Manager- The project manager. This drop-down menu is populated by contacts assigned the project manager role on the People dialog.
Contracting Officer- The project's contracting officer. This drop-down menu is populated by contacts assigned the contracting officer role on the People dialog.
Architect-Engineer- The project's A&E. This drop-down menu is populated by companies assigned the A&E role on the Companies dialog.
Contractor- The project's contractor. This drop-down menu is populated by companies assigned the contractor role on the Companies dialog.
Scope Of Work- The project's scope.
Remarks- Any additional remarks concerning the project.
Photos- Photos attached to the project. Photos are displayed on the Project Overview. For details on adding and deleting photos, see Managing Photos below.
To Add a Photo:
Click the Add Photo button. The Attach dialog will appear.
Click the Browse button to open a Windows Explorer window.
Navigate to the desired file.
Double-click the file name to select it.
Click the Open button on the Windows dialog to return to IMPACTprogram.
Enter a brief description of the photo.
Click the Submit Files button to add the file to your project.
You can add up to three photos simultaneously. Additional photos can be added by repeating the process.
To Delete a Photo:
Click the name of the photo to be deleted.
Click the Remove Photos button.
Once you are satisfied with the Project Information, click the Save button to apply the changes to the Project Overview.
