IMPACTprogram uses people added as contacts to populate drop-down menus used to assign project roles and responsibilities. As such, it is important that all program participants be added to the People list.
To access People, select Admin> People from the main toolbar.
The People dialog lists all contacts that have been created for the current program. You can filter the list using the Filter By Company and Filter by Person's Role drop-down menus. You can also sort the list by any of the columns.
You can create, edit, and delete people from your program.
To Add a Person:
Click the Add a Contact Person button. The contact details box will appear.
Enter the details for the new contact. First Name and Last Name are required fields.
If desired, associate the person with a company. Companies listed on the Companies screen can be selected.
Assign one or more Roles to the person.
Click the Save button. The details box will close and the People screen will refresh to display the new contact.
To Edit a Person:
Click the name of an existing person. The details box will appear.
Make the necessary changes to the details.
Click the Save button to save your changes. The details box will close and the People screen will refresh to reflect the changes.
To Delete a Person:
Click the name of an existing person. The details box will appear.
Click the Delete button. You will be asked to confirm the deletion.
Click OK to delete the person from the program. The details box will close and the People screen will refresh to reflect the change.
