IMPACTprogram uses the companies list to populate drop-down menus used to assign roles and responsibilities at the corporate level. As such, it is important that all companies involved with a program or project be added to the companies list.
To access Companies, select Admin> Companies from the main toolbar.
The Companies dialog lists all of the companies that have been created for the current program. You can filter the list using the Filter By Company's Role drop-down menu, which limits the companies displayed to those assigned a certain role. You can also sort the list by any of the columns.
You can create, edit, and delete companies from the Companies screen.
To Add a Company:
Click the Add a Company button. The company details box will appear.
Enter the details for the new company. Company Name and Org. Code are required fields.
If desired, select a Main Contact for the company. People listed on the People screen can be selected.
Assign one or more Roles to the company.
Click the Save button. The details box will close and the Companies screen will refresh to display the new company.
To Edit a Company:
Click the name of an existing company. The company details box will appear.
Make the necessary changes to the company details.
Click the Save button to save your changes. The details box will close and the Companies screen will refresh to reflect the changes.
To Delete a Company:
Click the name of an existing company. The company details box will appear.
Click the Delete button. You will be asked to confirm the deletion.
Click OK to delete the company. The details box will close and the Companies screen will refresh to reflect the change.
