Project Phase

Project Phases display the Baseline and Actual dates for the various phases of the project. Most phases consist of two milestones, a start date and a completion date. These dates are also presented as a horizontal bar graph so that you can easily compare the baseline and actual dates.

Editing Project Phases

To edit the phases, click the Edit button above the Project Phases area on the Project Overview. The phases displayed are controlled by the Project Phases Milestone template. You can change the phases displayed by altering the template. See Milestones for more information on creating and using templates.

To add a phase to the Project Overview, select the start and completion dates in at least one date column. The available date columns are:

• Original Date- The original scheduled date.

• Current/Actual Date- The current date.

• Projected Date- The new projected date.

Clicking within a date column will provide a drop-down calendar that can be used to select the desired date. You can also enter the date manually using the format dd/mm/yyyy.

Once you are satisfied with your phases, click Save to add the changes to the Project Overview, then close the Milestone template browser window.
